PsykoDaleIk. The Project Cannondale frames started when the super V active frame was introduced in
1995. The first C'dale I did was a modification for 6" of rear wheel travel and almost 5 of front.
I have tried a number of other frames but none with as much success as the Super V Active format. In
1997 I modified another for 7 inches then in 1998 I modified my own for 9 inches. In 1999 I modified
2 of them for 12" of travel. The Ghost and the Darkness. These two bikes redefined all the rules.
Take a look!
SherpaBurban. My Project Suburban began late in 1999 but has been on the pages
of experimentation since Jr. High School. The goal is to build a fully articulating high efficiency
people carrier. I decided on a Suburban platform late in 1998 and began my search. In August of 1999
I found one down in Milford, Utah that was nearly everything that I wanted. 1984 wagon with ambulance
doors, front and rear air, garaged most of its life, very little rust, 6.2 Diesel. Unfortunately, it
was only a 1/2 ton, bench seating, no 3rd row seats, and no turbo. As I was already planning on changing
the axles, suspension, motor and the entire interior, the vehicle was acquired and began the transformation.
